WSMA Festival:

April 13th

In March each band will travel by coach bus to Carroll University in Waukesha to perform in a Wisconsin School Music Association Large Group contest. Wildcat and Concert Bands will travel on April 13th and Varsity Band and Wind Ensemble will travel on March 14th. We will take coach buses to Shattuck Auditorium to perform and conclude the day with a visit to a local attraction as voted on by the students.

Tentative Schedule

8:12am - Attendance and Load Busses (Please eat breakfast before arriving at school.)

8:30am - Depart West High School

8:40am - Arrive at UW-Oshkosh Arts and Communications Building and Unload

9:00am - Wildcat Band Warms Up

10:00am - Wildcat Band Performance in the Auditorium (Concert Band watches performance)

10:20am - Concert Band Warms Up

11:00am - Concert Band Performance in the Auditorium (Wildcat Band watches performance)

12:00pm - Clinic Ends / Load Equipment

12:30pm - Depart for West High School

12:40pm - Drop off performance-only students at West High School

12:45pm - Depart for Milwaukee Zoo (Wauwautosa) (bring sack lunch for lunch en route)

2:00pm - Arrive at Milwaukee Zoo

4:30pm - Depart for SafeHouse (Milwaukee)

5:00pm - Group Dinner at SafeHouse

6:30pm - Depart for West High School

8:00pm - Approximate arrival at West High School / Unload Equipment

COST

There will be a small cost of $80 that covers coach bus travel, zoo entry, and dinner.
